100% of the proceeds will benefit youth leadership programs at Cottage Housing, Inc.  Cottage Housing provides transitional housing and builds healing communities where homeless people help themselves, and each other, from the streets to self-sustainability.

At Serna Village in McClellan Park, eighty-three apartments offer over 100 parents and more than 200 children a place to call home.  Serna Village is also home to the SKYLAB Youth Development Studio, where recently homeless youth engage in self-directed leadership programs that build their competence, confidence, and creativity.

So, what’s Reason to Party anyway?

Reason to Party Sacramento is the newest outpost of the highly-successful Reason to Party nonprofit founded in San Francisco. We harness the power of social media and our personal networks to bring together the 20s-30s crowd for spectacular parties that support good causes.

Reason to Party is one of SF’s hottest young parties, which has garnered the attention of Forbes Magazine, NBC, and even Former Mayor Gavin Newsom, who declared a “Reason to Party Day” in San Francisco.

With start-ups happening simultaneously in Los Angeles, New York, and  Sacramento, Reason to Party has become an internationally-recognized space for the young nonprofit, high-tech, artistic, and enterprising cultures to connect, give back, and share a powerful new reason to party.
