Brian joined the Reason to Party team in 2011 and assumed the
financial responsibilities of the charity. He also works with
production, event coordinating, marketing, and other various
teams in the planning and implementation of each event.
Mara was born and raised in San Diego, California. She completed
her Bachelors degree at the University of California Davis and
since then has traveled and worked around the world. She began
her career in San Francisco working to help low income
Californians gain access to legal aid. In 2011 she moved to
Cambodia to work with the United Nations and a local non-profit
called Legal Support for Children and Women on policy relating to
labor migration and human trafficking.
Karis was born in Dallas, spent her childhood in the tropics of
Malaysia, and graduated high school in Hong Kong. Graduating in
2001with high honors, Karis earned her B.A. in Mass
Communications from Biola University. In 2008 she earned a
Masters degree in Media Communications with highest honors from
Dallas Theological Seminary.
Shelly and Scott create a unique, interactive, and fun experience
for guests when they encounter the photo booth at a Reason to
Party event. They have been with RTP since the very first party
at Medjool and consider the founders and guest’s family. Both of
them are passionate about using photography to celebrate life and
to reflect some happiness back on the world. When they’re not
facilitating fun at RTP events, Shelly is a Virgin America flight
attendant and photographer, and Scott is a full-time
photographer.
Cam is responsible for creating eye-catching imagery for Reason
to Party’s marketing efforts, which always emphasizes the fusion
of a fun atmosphere and a good cause. As an artist, Reason to
Party has given Cam the opportunity to explore and combine his
passions for fashion, music and art into images that resonate
with a broad spectrum of supporters. While he is relatively new
to RTP, he is proud to have directed two successful shoots.
